Brother Randy was called to be Pastor of First Baptist Church of Saks on February 25, 2007, by a unanimous vote of the church immediately following his sermon in our morning service. He officially began his ministry with FBC of Saks on Sunday, March 25, 2007.

Randy states that his greatest ministry asset is his wife (Tammy) of 21 years. Tammy believes that being a Pastor's wife is one of the greatest callings that God ever bestows upon any lady. Tammy and Randy are also blessed with two teenage children, Kyle and Kandace.

"I fully support the work of Baptist through the Church, Association, State Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. I comply fully with the belief systems set forth in the Baptist Faith and Message(2000)."

Brother Randy loves God's word and is dedicated to studying it and opening its truth clearly to others. He has never doubted God's call but often wondered why God called him. He believes that a winning combination in the church is a pastor who genuinely loves his people and a church that trusts its pastor to do what is best for them. He states that his favorite title is Pastor.
